Beware of Locksmith Scams

We have been made aware of a scam in Hampton Roads. This is the scam: When you call because you are locked out of your car or house, they will tell you that it will cost you $35.00 plus labor. You might not know that labor is usually a flat fee of $45.00 but they will tell you that labor can run from $50.00 to $100.00. Then, once they retrieve your keys, they won’t return them to you until you pay the labor fee.
